Our reading program is a one-to-one tutoring system designed to teach children who struggle with reading and spelling due to dyslexia or other learning disabilities.
Orton Gillingham Influenced
Our reading program is an Orton-Gillingham influenced approach to reading and spelling, which means that it is simultaneously multi-sensory, systematic, and cumulative with direct and explicit instruction in both synthetic and analytic phonics.
Research and Evidence Based
All the latest scientific, independent, replicated reading research supports the Orton-Gillingham, also known as Structured Literacy, sequence and methodology as “best practices” when teaching reading to students with dyslexia. Orton-Gillingham, also known as Structured Literacy, is the research-based approach recommended by the International Dyslexia Association.
The principles implemented in our reading programs are consistent with current findings on the characteristics of effective interventions. There are more than a dozen independent studies that provide evidence of the effectiveness of the program, since its release in 1999.
